It took a while to get up to this spot, and I pretty much made it just in time, but I'm glad I did.

Had never gotten a shot of a train on this line before. You can see a hint of the MS River bridge and the Memphis Pyramid in the background.

2656 looks pretty new. Paint is still fresh.

The NS to UP transfer MMEPBB is quite long today as it passes under the signals at CN Junction and disappears around the bend in the distance.

The NS 391 has turned over to the UP and become the MMEPBB as it passes an empty BNSF coal train stopped at CN Junction.

As the sun begins to set BNSF 4583 leads UP's MMEPBB west with this transfer from the NS.

The NS 391 has now become the UP MMEPBB as it leaves the NS main and slips onto the UP main at the CN crossing on Broadway with NS 9462 out front.

Like unclogging a drain the trains are moving again on the Brinkley Sub. NS 9601 has the MMEPBB 23 rolling westward as it passes a crossing that seems to have an issue with word placement.

Traffic starts to get back to normal the day after Christmas as this NS transfer to the UP heads west into a setting sun.

THe MMEPBB rounds the curve near Kansas Street as the loaded coal train CEYMS heads east.

The MMEPBB stops at the dwarf signal to allow the MMEPB ahead of it to clear the bridge. New condos are being built in the background for the railfan who wants to be by the tracks 24/7.

Looks like an added stack on top of this SSW GP-60, but it's actually from the plant in the background, as the MMEPBB train rolls by the Arkilite facilities in Edmondson, Arkansas.

An unpatched Cotton Belt GP-60 rolls westbound on the UP Memphis Sub as a BNSF Memphis to Kansas City train heads in the same direction.

The MMEPBB heads west on the UP main after coming into Memphis as NS 391 and exchanging at Tower 17.
